Hungarian Pavilion staff will represent the country in these uniforms at the Dubai World Expo

The staff of the Hungarian Pavilion at the Dubai World Expo will be wearing THEFOUR and Elysian uniforms. The winning outfits of the uniform competition were presented to the press on Thursday.

In 2019, Expo 2020 Hungary Nkft. announced a competition to design the uniforms of the staff representing the country at the World Expo.

The competition called for clothing for men and women that was comfortable and practical, suitable for all-day activewear, appropriate for Dubai’s climate and cultural traditions, and in line with the pavilion concept, which is to showcase Hungary’s water treasures.

Among the jury were the heads of the Expo 2020 Hungary, the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency, and professional representatives of the fashion world. Based on their decision, two designers were finally given the opportunity to dress the team representing Hungary. Elysian’s designer Boglárka Bódis designed the outfits for the chefs, waiters, and building managers, while THEFOUR was responsible for the uniforms of the pavilion staff.

The Dubai World Expo opens on 1 October 2021. The event will bring together 190 countries and is expected to attract 25 million visitors, mostly from abroad.
