Dare to Rug is the first Romanian designer brand to make contemporary rugs. Contemporary design plays a significant role in the brand, but it is impossible not to mention that they invested much energy in the quality of production: rugs are made in a traditional way, only from the best raw materials.
Their collection, called SHADE, was created in collaboration with visual artist Ana Popescu. The collection was based on Ana’s four acrylic creations—and the brand identity and Ana’s art are perfectly combined in the form of contemporary rugs.
In 2019, the collection won the Romanian ELLE Decor award for best product design.
