Polish Vogue came up with two very unexpected covers for April

One of the April covers of Vogue Polska is by Polish-Roma artist Małgorzata Mirga-Tas, who is representing Poland at this year’s Venice Biennale and who has been featured in our article.

Vogue magazines have long been seen as “just” a fashion bible, but the issues published across the globe have undergone many progressive changes, bringing more and more attention to art, design, and many other social issues and current problems, besides fashion. April’s Vogue Polska comes with two different covers. The April issue of Vogue Polska features two different covers, one by Polish-Roma artist Małgorzata Mirga-Tas and the other by fashion photographer and painter Yelena Yemchuk, whose work references Ukrainian culture.
