Prague City Tourism celebrates its 65th anniversary

Prague City Tourism celebrates the 65th anniversary of its foundation this year with a year-long series of events.

The association, originally called the Prague Information Service in 1958, changed its name in 2018 and has undergone a major transformation: it no longer just provides information but also aims to improve the quality of life of the city’s inhabitants, public spaces, and create conditions for sustainable tourism.

“This year we are expecting big celebrations for the anniversary of our organization. Personally, I am very proud of the form Prague City Tourism has today and the offer we are able to bring to the people of Prague and visitors from all over the world,” said František Cipro, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The celebrations will feature discounted admission tickets, themed historical tours, walks, souvenirs, and an exhibition.
