Slovenian Film Day launches tomorrow in Budapest

On the occasion of the event, the director of Sanremo, Slovenia’s Oscar nominee this year, will also visit Budapest.


On Thursday 27 October 2022 at 8 pm, the sixth Slovenian Film Days will begin with the screening of Slovenia’s 2022 Oscar nominee Sanremo at the Toldi Cinema in Budapest. The film’s cinematographer, Peter Zeitlinger, has worked with legends such as Vittorio Storaro, Vilmos Zsigmond, and Werner Herzog. The author and director of Sanremo, one of the best-known filmmakers in his country, Miroslav Mandić, will also be attending the screening. The event is organized in cooperation with the Slovenian Film Center, BudapestFilm Zrt., and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Budapest.
