Two Hague-based design studios launched one of the most inspiring Covid-19 community projects: they created a platform where graphic designers can upload the posters they designed for encouraging health care workers or those struggling with saying home.
During the epidemic, the most important is to stay sane – but that’s not all. Keeping our good spirits and mental integrity is just as important. This is why the Stay Sane / Stay Safe platform was created, doing its best with the means of graphic design.
The essence of the initiative launched by Hague-based design studios Studio Lennarts & De Brujin and Overdeschreefis to gather graphic designers from all over the world who can encourage health care workers and those stuck at home with their posters responding to the epidemic.
Anyone can submit their poster design to the site (1308 works have been received from 77 countries so far), which can be downloaded and printed by anyone, from anywhere. We can choose from two options: they separated the posters created for “lifesavers” and “home-stayers”, but you can also browse through the posters by countries.
The organizers encourage the visitors of the site to get the posters to the nearest hospitals, if they have the means, to brighten up the otherwise depressing atmosphere a bit.
