The first Ford Bronco was released in 1966, and now it comes back into Ford’s selection with a novel appearance and features, in three versions.
The original Bronco was a two-door model, this time, however, Ford will release both a revived two-door and an innovative four-door model. All versions come with easily detachable doors and rooftop panels. The basic engine is the standard 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four, producing 270 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, but those looking for something more can opt for the twin-turbo 2.7-liter Eco boost V6 engine that produces 310 hp and 400 lb.-ft of torque.
Essentially the model of the iconic off-road SUV has been modernized, while preserving its clean design and original Bronco style elements. It does not only recall its ancestor on the outside, but on the inside too, which can especially be observed on the appearance of the control panel. To prepare for the mess going hand in hand with off-road trips, the Bronco debuts with waterproof upholstery and an interior outfitted with easy-to-clean materials in spring 2021 – accompanied by a brand new model, the Bronco Sport intended for road use on top!
