In addition to mouth-watering vegan food, a light, relaxed atmosphere awaits those entering the door of Prague’s loving bistro. The newest place in the city opened on the ground floor of an imposing corner house in the popular Letná district, where not only can we quench our hunger, but we can also admire the brilliant architectural solutions of the space, thanks to the Esté architekti studio.
By connecting several retail premises, which originally had a function related to trade and services, the bistro gained its present look through gradual transformations. The high ceilings, the large shop windows and the light flooding in through them greatly contributed to the appearance of the interior.
The design team decided to keep the original aluminum shop windows. The imposing nature of the left doors and windows complements the refined and simple surfaces and shapes. Located on the surface of the glass portals, the shadow play of the short haikus, which can be read from the street, stops the rushing passers-by, even if only for a moment.
