Volkswagen's latest concept car could be the electric city car of the future

The Volkswagen ID. LIFE, the smallest member of the ID range, made its debut at this year’s Munich Motor Show.

Volkswagen is using this concept car to show where they believe the future of electric cars is heading. The ID.LIFE’s modular interior, cinema screen-like dashboard and retro-futuristic styling are designed to show that the future will focus more on the driving experience than on the transport function. The model reaches 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and its 57 kWh battery can cover 400 km on a single charge. Volkswagen is planning to launch the car in 2025, and it is expected to be available at a relatively affordable price of €20,000.
