Yölanda’s cheeks return on cozy sweatwear

Yölanda started out as a T-shirt brand in Debrecen three years ago. The products featuring a butt motif were designed by Kata Venyige and Evelin Ágh, with Frici Lengyel taking care of the business matters of their brand. In the past days, their latest sweatsuit collection debuted with huge success, the pieces of which will be available for order on Instagram again from next week.

The brand started out with loose-fitting illustrated tops, out of which the T-shirt dubbed „My name” sums up the brand’s identity quite well. Later on their product palette was expanded with minimalistic embroidered sweatshirts and sweatpants, with each of them displaying their characteristic butt motif.

“Yölanda is an exciting illusion, whose butt appears on our illustrations and photos that are ultimately displayed on our products in various styles and manners. We make clothing and home accessories that we ourselves would wear happily, and which we like to surround ourselves with. Each piece comes with a »secret« meaning, which makes them special to us and this is what we would like to pass on to our customers, too.”

The brand underwent a massive change in the past years both in terms of visual identity and manufacturing processes, primarily manifesting in the cleaner and more minimalistic appearance of shapes and design and the longer service life of products.

In the course of designing, the girls strive for creating classic and timeless pieces, and so they replaced the bolder prints used initially with simple, minimal lines, thus preserving the laidback and casual style characteristic of the brand. The products are manufactured in a sustainable manner in Hungary, including their latest sweatsuit collection which debuted in the past days, inspired by the changes taking place this year and the long isolation.

In addition to apparel items, other new products were also added to their selection over the past years: last Christmas, Yölanda dropped a limited ceramics collection, while this year they released home textile items. In the case of the latter, their usual motif appears in the texture of the pillow cases.

Even though the first limited items of the collection have already sold out, Kata and Evelin said that they grew to like this combo so much that the sweatsuits with the butt motif will be available in several colors in the future. The unisex clothing items are available for order in sizes S-L on Yölanda’s Instagram site, where soon the girls will also share the date when their products will be available in Garden Studio&Café.
