How can bathing be environmentally conscious without compromising hygiene? Japanese design studio Nendo is working to solve this problem with its replaceable soap dispensers made of paper. The alternative they offer not only helps to reduce plastic waste, but also meets health and cleanliness requirements without fail.
The minimalist look dreamed up by Nendo was inspired by milk cartons; the product is scheduled to debut in 2022.
Due to the design of the top and bottom covers of the box, the bottle won’t collapse, helping to avoid soaking and mold. The replaceable cardboard body of the dispenser is designed so that its content can be used up to the last drop: the liquid inside collects exactly at the bottom of the dispenser.
