As the professional partner of Budapest Design Week, the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency offers an opportunity for introduction to 24 Hungarian and regional designers in the framework of the 360 Design Budapest program series. At the event held between October 8 and 10, the audience can get to know exciting products of the design sector through online and offline tours, and we also get to participate in roundtable discussions.
We can get to know the works of twenty Hungarian designers at the exhibition of 360 Design Budapest, who were selected to participate in the event as exhibitors via an open application process. The Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency welcomed applicants in 11 product categories, ranging from individual furniture to special household ceramics to concrete products. Visitors will able to check out the works of Adamlamp, Codolagni, Error n’more, Hannabi, Sára Kele, KOMONKA, Ábel Lakatos, LumoConcept, Ádám Miklósi, Oleant, Paper Up, Planbureau, Plydesign, Position Collective, RAWfiction, Anna Regős, Sixay, Socowoo, Studio Nomad, and Fanni Ungár at the exhibition. The audience can also take an online, virtual tour of the exhibition through 360 degree panorama shots, complemented by the products of four additional regional designers.
The goal of 360 Design Budapest is to promote trade opportunities, while also creating a platform for thinking together about the future of design, for educational purposes. During the 3-day event, we can listen to various podcasts and roundtable discussions, including the online talks of the design DIALOG program series, or the podcast titled “The road from production capacity to our own design culture – The future of the furniture industry in Veszprém”. In addition to all this, they will also hold an extraordinary regional discussion with the participation of the designers of V4 countries, focusing on the circular model.
