Meta opens its first retail store in California

Meta has announced that it will open its first Meta Store, a retail space dedicated to Portal, Ray-Ban stories, and Quest on May 9. Located in Burlingame, California, visitors will be able to get hands-on experience with various technologies the company offers.

With an area of roughly 1,550 square meters, the retail space wants visitors to experiment with their products, while giving a glimpse into the company’s idea of the future. Through interactive demos, people will be able to make video calls to retail associates with Portal; learn about the Ray-Ban Stories glasses; and explore VR with a first-of-its-kind immersive Quest 2 demo.
