Star Chalet, the winter wonderland of the Hard Rock Hotel, opened in Budapest

On 24 November, the Hard Rock Hotel Budapest’s festive gem, the Star Chalet opened its doors, a fulfillment of our long-cherished childhood dreams, but in a slightly more adult context.

The winter wonderland of the Hard Rock Hotel is built in the so-called Passage section, which is outside, perfectly combining the essential winter chill that is balanced by an outdoor fireplace and warm lights. With the festive decor of the Star Chalet, everyone can share the unadulterated Christmas excitement.

Besides the venue, the food offerings are also in line with the holiday season with Hungarian specialties: at the Star Chalet, the fireplace will be accompanied by roasted almonds, spicy chocolate, and lángos, among other things—the latter not quite in its usual form.

It wouldn’t be Hard Rock if it weren’t accompanied by the right music—Christmas tunes and modern hits will be played in the winter wonderland, but there will be no shortage of live music either: DJs and bands will perform in December to set the mood. So the Star Chalet is not to be missed, but don’t worry: the wonderland is open until 15 February 2023 for those who want to slow down at this time of year.
